This Rocklin Wedding Photographer is in seventh heaven photographing at this super cute church! Old Saint Mary’s Chapel is the perfect little white church in Rocklin to be married in. The church has all the wonderful, quaint features you’re dreaming of for your wedding. Beautiful natural light, gorgeous landscaping, Old Rocklin Fire Station to get ready in, train passing by, and rope in the chapel to pull and ring those wedding bells! The weather was questionable with high winds and rain throughout the day. So, when the rain stayed away until just after the posed portraits outside the church, we were grateful. The couple was not able to have their reception outside in the garden as planned, but they improvised quickly and had their reception in Rancho Murieta at their home church where Emma + Colby met in youth group. His plans are always better than ours!
And what a special couple we photographed here. Emma + Colby are probably our youngest couple – at 18 and 19. They’re madly in love and have big plans for their future together. Emma is just 5 years older than our daughter Gracie and these two girls played together during our weekly Homeschool Park Days in Redwood City. Needless to say, when we were asked to photograph their wedding, we were delighted and also a little freaked out – one of Gracie’s childhood friends old enough to be married?! That meant there was a possibility that we could be doing this every same thing for our daughter in the not-so-distant future! God is great and his timing is perfect. Congratulations Emma + Colby!
