We have been blessed to call South Carolina our home, since February 2021 and love every minute of it! When we aren't photographing, you can usually find us dining out, boating, kayaking, swimming in (or laying by - Jackie!) the pool, mountain or road biking, golfing, picking apples in North Carolina, strawberries in South Carolina, visiting antique stores, or sitting on the porch sipping sweet tea and eating a cold pie. Jackie makes an incredible coconut cream pie and key lime pie!
We are Jackie + Jay - experienced photographers who don't miss a thing. We met over nineteen years ago at "The Bubble Lounge" - a champagne bar in San Francisco, and knew we had found 'the one' on our first date at the Grand Cafe. We started photographing weddings in San Francisco in 2010 and have been photographing couples, corporations, soirees, families, senior portraits, and dance companies ever since! Our first three children are San Francisco natives, and number four is our country boy - having been born in Northern California.
a little bit about
Your portraits, details, and moments are documented as they happen but in an artistic way. It's probably the reason you're here and the "thing" you just can't describe about why you like our style.
Details matter in your world (as they do in ours.) It goes without saying, that our attire, manners, and demeanor are on point.
Moments you may not have noticed, we have - and they're captured. You are delighted, and so grateful.
We plan ahead of time and expectations are set well in advance. You check photography off your list and know you're in good hands
You want your Wedding captured as it happens and not feeling like you are at a photoshoot. Timeless photographs, not edited for the trend that's popular now, and may not be later. Beautiful portraiture that you can display in your home is important, and equally important are the moments - the ones that make you smile when you look at them. Posed when necessary and instructed when needed, but left to enjoy your guests and event, knowing nothing is missed. When you think back to your Wedding Day, you remember us being there, but also wonder how we captured everything without being the focus and barely noticed. How do you want to remember and look back on your wedding day? Tell us...let's continue the conversation....
