Little Mountain South Carolina Engagement Photography Session

A couple in love, the perfect Southern Dress, a cute small town, and beautifully decorated storefronts. The Little Mountain Home Store was so perfectly decorated, as was the darling Southern Style Family Salon. Just down the road from the famed Cotton Press, the town of Little Mountain couldn’t be cuter or more perfect for your Southern Wedding. These are among our favorite things that make for the perfect Engagement Session for this super-cute couple who is so near and dear to our hearts.

Megan is my (Jackie’s) cousin, and she and Josh were visiting us from California. We were scheduled to photograph their Southern California Wedding one week after Los Angeles County (and really all of California,) shut down at the start of Covid. We threw Megan + Josh a wedding shower at our then Northern California Mountain home in January of 2020, not realizing how meaningful it would be to us all; as the February wedding would be rescheduled, then cancelled. The couple chose to elope in their beautiful backyard with just their immediate family members present. Their shower was when many of the extended family were present to share in the joy of their engagement and soon to be, wedding. They never got professional photographs of the two of them at their elopement, and we moved to South Carolina early the next year. Megan + Josh came to South Carolina to visit us and we were delighted!! We spent a long weekend together catching up, and an afternoon together photographing them. We had the best time, and loved so many of their photographs. Here are a selection of our favorites.

I guess all this is to say, relationship matters, family matters, pictures and memories are important, and small towns are priceless.
