Southern tradition abounds at this beautiful lakeside wedding. Floral bridesmaids dresses, blue suits, blue and white china pattern dishes, depression glass, and alternating white linens and traditional blue and white floral pattern tablecloths, adorn the gorgeous table scapes. Master wedding designer and planner, Brenda Hodges of A Curated Story, did not miss a single detail at this spectacular soirée.
Emily + Wes wed at the family’s lake house on a beautiful spring afternoon and the good Lord gave them beautiful weather! That buried bottle of bourbon did the trick and their wedding day was as dreamy as they hoped.
Let’s just call attention to a few of our favorite details. Those gorgeous floral print bridesmaids dresses combined with solid colors. The darling flower girls with flower crowns and ring bearers with seersucker suits (kids at a wedding is always a good idea!) Custom bar with signature cocktails like the brides favorite grapefruit gin & tonic, and ice cold beer, sparkling, and still water served in a cooled trough – something for everyone at this family affair.
Impeccably styled tables with Tupelo Honey in mason jars presented to guests at each table setting as a thank you. And the lake inspired ombre wedding cake displayed on a vintage pedestal and served on mommas favorite blue-and-white china pattern-Blue Willow.
