Chapin High School Senior Prom Portraits

There is something so special about photographing seniors during one of the most exciting seasons of their lives. This session was extra fun because it wasn’t just one senior—it was a group of friends from Chapin High School celebrating prom together.

We began the session on the historic campus of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where the classic architecture, brick walkways, and soft evening light created the perfect backdrop for timeless senior portraits. The girls brought such natural energy to the session, laughing, posing together, and soaking in every moment of this milestone experience.

After USC, we moved to the South Carolina State House, which added a more formal and iconic Southern feel to their prom portraits. The marble steps and grand columns gave the perfect contrast to the fun, candid energy of the group at the university earlier in the session.

What we loved most about this shoot was how personal it felt. These weren’t just prom photos—they were a celebration of friendship, connection, and the end of an unforgettable chapter before graduation. Capturing both the group dynamic and the individual moments, including one senior with her prom date, made the gallery feel complete and deeply meaningful.
